FALL 2026: Techniques for Sewing Denim

Course Description

Learn to sew your next denim project with confidence. This class covers proper needle and thread choices while mastering flat-fell seams, topstitching, sewing a zipper fly, button fly, a front jeans pocket, back patch pockets, belt loops, applying rivets and traditional jeans buttons. Expect two hours of optional homework between classes. Requirement: Advanced beginner sewing skill level or higher. Class meets once a week for six weeks. Cost: $225 Class size: 12-15 students All classes are online through Zoom. Class recordings are available to students for eight weeks after the session ends. Refund Policy: Full refund if cancellation request is received seven days or more before the start date of the class. No refunds within seven days of the start date.
