SUMMER 2025 - Sewing Techniques

Course Description

Students will work with silk charmeuse on length grain and bias. We will explore proper needle and thread choices, seam options, seam finishes, zipper application, buttons/buttonholes, interfacing and underlining options, various hems options, and proper cutting techniques. Prerequisite: basic sewing skills Class meets once a week for four weeks. No class July 9. Cost: $160 Small class size. All classes are online through Zoom. Class recordings are available to students during the session and for eight weeks after the session ends. Refund Policy: Full refund if cancellation request is received seven days or more before the start date of the class. No refunds within seven days of the start date.
