SUMMER 2026: Construction 2

Course Description

Building on Construction 1, this course delves into more advanced techniques such as sewing lap and exposed zippers, mitering corners, sewing perfect patch pockets, sewing a sleeve placket, applying bias tape on necklines and armholes, hand stitches, and various hemming options. Expect about three hours of homework between classes. Prerequisite: Construction 1 Class meets once a week for eight weeks. No class May 9. Cost: $299 Class size: 12-15 students All classes are online through Zoom. Class recordings are available to students for eight weeks after the session ends. Refund Policy: Full refund if cancellation request is received seven days or more before the start date of the class. No refunds within seven days of the start date.
