Course Description

Professional-looking button-down shirts start with precise construction techniques. In Menswear 3, students will learn which interfacings to use in collars, cuffs and button plackets; topstitching techniques; effective pressing methods; accurate buttonhole and buttonhole placement; how to sew a patch pocket, a collar with band, how to sew in a sleeve; and how to professionally hem a curve. • Expect about three hours of homework between classes • Required textbook: Building Patterns, by Suzy Furrer Class meets once a week for eight weeks. Cost: $299 Class size: 6-15 students All classes are online through Zoom. Class recordings are available to students for eight weeks after the session ends. Refund Policy: Full refund if cancellation request is received seven days or more before the start date of the class. No refunds within seven days of the start date.
