Learn to properly construct a jacket or coat with impeccable results. This class focuses on building the inside support pieces, pressing techniques, sewing welt pockets, notched collars, bound buttonholes, linings and more. Patterns need to be drafted, fit and cut before the class (see Tailoring I: Drafting the Jacket/Coat). Required Text: Tailoring - The Classic Guide to Sewing the Perfect Jacket, by Creative Publishing International. Expect 3-4 hours of homework between classes. 

Prerequisite: Tailoring I: Drafting the Jacket/Coat. Intermediate sewing skill level.
